Bombed Jacket by Markski

Rocked for my Long Island partner Mike E-D, a.k.a. Jaze One UWS Crew. Done in NY, late ’85 or very early ‘86. I would often go through the Bronx and NYC roaming the streets benching, or “Graff Hunting” as I called it. I would take Jaze with me sometimes. I took this picture of him in the Bronxdale Projects as we roamed my old neighborhoods and stopped through to try to find my boy Realizm. We stopped next to this Cater CE FA stairway tag. Cat was from my old Soundview neighborhood. He had taken me to the Graffiti Hall of Fame at 106th St and Park Ave in ‘84.

Rich One piece and T3 Doodle

Rich piece in an angular mechanical semi-wild style. The T3 (Take 3 Crew) is a one-continuous-line flowing wild style doodle. All circumscribed, i.e., shrouded by accompanying tags. Done by Markski, on loose leaf paper in class in New York, ’86.

Markski piece

Artifact of the prior late night bombing mission. Zulu Gremlin and Lil Blitz came along. Done at one of our various underground UWS Crew yards. This one was on the Montebello, CA side, ’87.

Graffitti Love

Simple curvy letters stacked up, with a clean downward 3D. I often did backwards Rs and Ks for creative effect. Done in ’88.
